About This Quote

Cruelty and fear shake hands together. An unfulfilled vocation drains the color from a man's entire existence. The quote above is one of my favorite quotes and the reason why I chose it to be my favorite quote. The person who said this was a great poet. He was talking about how some people can’t afford to live their dreams because they don’t know how to safeguard their future.

If you live on fear, you will never be able to accomplish anything in your life. Although I don't think he used the word "vocation" in this quote it means something very close to what he was saying. When you are doing something that you love you are living your vocation, or something that you are meant for, or something that is your calling in life.
